Pilot runs over man after their cars collide; teenageru00a0stabbed for refusing to give screwdriver
Petty issues claimed two young lives in the Capital in two separate incidents. In the first incident, a restaurant manager was run over by a car driven by a Jet Airways pilot on Tuesday. The pilot identified as Vikas Aggarwal was driving his Ford Icon car when a Hyundai I-10 car driven by Rajiv Jolly rammed into his car from behind at Khan Market.

A police official close to investigation said that after hitting Aggarwal's car, Jolly got down from his vehicle and picked up an argument with Aggarwal. He then pulled out Aggarwal and thrashed him. Aggarwal somehow managed to free himself and tried to run away from the spot in his car. In a bid to stop him, Jolly jumped on the bonnet of his car but the accused raced on and after some distance Jolly fell down from the car and got crushed under it . However, VA Gupta, additional DC, New Delhi said that Aggarwal took a sudden sharp turn due to which Jolly fell down and was run over.
Police have lodged an case of death due to rash and negligence driving against the driver.u00a0 Eyewitness however claimed that Aggarwal deliberately ran his car over Jolly several times with an intention to kill him. Police said they will verify that possibility.
In another incident, a teenager was stabbed to death by four persons after he refused to give them a screwdriver.u00a0The victim 17-year- old Bilal ran a mobile phone shop in North Delhi's Jafrabad area.
On Monday night, four persons approached him and asked him for a screwdriver. Bilal refused saying he did not have one .
"Hearing this, they dragged him out of his shop and started beating him. His elder brother, Afzal rushed to his rescue but he too was thrashed. They then stabbed Bilal to death," said a senior police official.u00a0
Police said the four accused are still on the run and a manhunt has been launched to nab them.
