Police gear up for general elections

The city police are gearing up to face the general elections to be held in April and May.
Police commissioner S M Bidri said the city police have been sensitised about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and have bee instructed to remove buntings and boards.
Senior police officers including DCPs have been instructed to monitor the situation in pre and post election times, said the commissioner.
