Shilpa Shetty has bought 12 per cent stake in IPL franchisee Rajasthan Royals for Rs 75 crore



Shilpa Shetty has joined the fatafat cricket bandwagon.


The UK Big Brother winner has bought 12 per cent stake in the Rajasthan Royals, the last year's winner.
The bindaas girl would be entering the deal with her partner and close friend Raj Kundra which is worth 15.4 million dollars (Rs 75 crore).


Rajasthan Royal is owned by the Emerging Media group. Shilpa would also replace singer Ila Arun as the brand ambassador of the team.

While Preity Zinta owns Kings XI Punjab with her beau Bombay Dyeing scion Ness Wadia, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are co-owners of Kolkata Knight Riders.
