Stone hit actress Lilavati's car

A stone hit actress Lilavati's car on Saturday which she initially believed was a bullet. Though the police confirmed that it was stone, the actress has sought police protection as there is "threat to her life."

"Yea, it was not a bullet, but a stone. But I feel that someone has intentionally thrown it at our car. My son Vinod Kumar and I were in the car when the stone was thrown at us near Shantala circle. I have no enemies but I still feel there is someone who wants to eliminate both of us. I have requested the police to provide police protection," she said.

The Forensic Science Laboratory also examined the car and confirmed that it was a stone. "May be the tyre would have gone over the stone, and thrown it upwards. The stone then pierced through the glass pane," said DCP West Shivkumar.
