A group of Bangaloreans has urged the voters of Bangalore rural constituency not to vote for C P Yogeswar who was accused of committing fraud in the infamous Mega City project.
C P Yogeswar, the Congress MLA, joined the BJP recently and is contesting the Bangalore (Rural) seat.u00a0
They told a press meet that they will carry out a public campaign against the leader who was accused of cheating the public through the Mega City project.
They alleged that he is contesting in the election only to cover up the fraud. They hoped that the investigation in this regard come in their favour.

What's Mega City?
In 1995, Yogeswar launched an ambitious housing project near Bidadi, an hour's drive from Bangalore. A school teacher's son from a humble rural background, Yogeswar shot into the limelight when the project was inaugurated by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan and other stars took part in the function.
The project promised to allot 10,000 sites and a huge amount was collected as deposits. However, only a handful got the sites while the rest were left high and dry.
Yogeswar also produced films in which he acted as the hero.
