An employee of the US embassy in New Delhi was attacked by bike-borne assailants while she was returning home at Sector 5, RK Puram.

"There were two of them on a black Pulsar bike. They snatched my bag and pushed me. I fell down and before I could get up, they fled the spot," said Mointe, the victim.

She reached her sister's house in RK Puram and they informed the police. An FIR has been registered in this regard at the RK Puram police station. Mointe had also worked with the German embassy.

In another incident on Tuesday night, bikers robbed another woman from Manipur.

The victim, Peace Shinglai, was on her way home in an auto when two bike-borne people stopped the vehicle and snatched her bag and cellphone near Sarojini Nagar in south Delhi. The police has filed a case of snatching.
