Hamid Ansari travelled from Central Secretariat to Vishwavidyalaya station
Delhi Metro had a special commuter on Friday when vice-president Hamid Ansari travelled from Central Secretariat to Vishwavidyalaya station.

At Vishwavidyalaya, he acquainted himself with the system by getting off the train, going down to the concourse level and returning to the opposite platform for boarding the return train to Patel Chowk Metro station.u00a0
Here, he visited the Metro Museum which is not only South Asia's first modern Metro Museum but also the only such installation worldwide in an operational Metro station.
Ansari praised Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) as an organisation which has established benchmarks in cleanliness, punctuality and latest Metro technology for the country.u00a0
He also hailed Delhi Metro Managing Director E Sreedharan and his team for establishing Delhi Metro and making it a pride of India. '"This is a remarkable achievement. It has done great public good. Citizens of Delhi and of India are proud of it.
I congratulate Delhi Metro and all its personnel for the excellence of their work and for their dedication. It is a model for all of us," he said after his visit.
