A newly-married woman and her father-in-law were among three members of a family who were killed in an accident in Pune district of Maharashtra. Two including her husband has been injured in the incident, the police said on Wednesday, the PTI reported.
Their car rammed into a moving truck from the rear side leading to a major car crash.
According to the PTI, the husband of the woman and her sister-in-law were critically injured and hospitalised, an official said.
The accident occurred on the Pune-Solapur road near Chincholi village, around 100 km from Pune city, on Tuesday morning.

The deceased persons are identified as Radhika Ajay Mhaske (22), her father-in-law Raju Mhaske (52), and his brother-in-law Babasaheb Dhende (48).
Radhika's husband Ajay Mhaske (26) and his sister Kajal (23) sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital, the official said.
The family hails from Chinchwad near Pune. They were headed to Dharashiv city in Marathwada when the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, in an another incident in Noida, a married couple died and their daughter was hospitalised with injuries allegedly after their motorcycle collided with a car, the police had said on Tuesday, the PTI reported.
The crash took place around 2 pm on Monday at the Sector 31-25 intersection under Sector 24 Police Station limits, they said. The car occupants are still at large.
"The police received an information about an accident between a motorcycle Hero Deluxe and a car Hyundai i20. Three persons were riding on the motorcycle, including a man, Ranjan Kumar, 45, his wife Ruby, 40, and their daughter Milky, 5 suffered injuries in the collision and was taken to a private hospital in Sector 71 by locals," a police spokesperson said, as per the PTI.
"While Ranjan Kumar died and the woman also died during treatment, their daughter is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The family lived in the Bhangel area in Noida," the spokesperson said.
The car involved in the accident has been impounded by the police and an FIR has been registered at the local police station, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination, police added.
