Sacred "Kalash Pujan" ceremony on banks of Saryu River marked second day of pre-consecration rituals leading up to the grand ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

Trust general secretary Champat Rai announced that the rituals, initiated on Tuesday, will persist until January 21, culminating in the minimum essential rituals required for the "Pran Pratishtha" of the idol of Ram Lalla on the consecration day.

Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Anil Mishra, along with his wife and others, performed the significant "Kalash Pujan" on the banks of the Saryu river, symbolizing the sanctity of the upcoming consecration ceremony.

Following the Kalash Pujan, pots filled with water from the Saryu river will be ceremoniously transported to the Ram temple complex, enhancing the spiritual significance of the pre-consecration rituals.

Anil Mishra, serving as the "yajman" for the "puja," is actively participating in all rituals, including those scheduled for January 22, emphasizing the holistic involvement of key figures in the sacred proceedings.

A total of 121 "acharyas" are orchestrating the rituals, with Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid overseeing, coordinating, and directing all proceedings of the "anushthan." The principal "acharya" for this spiritual journey will be Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi.

The pinnacle of these rituals, the "Pran Pratishtha" of the Ram temple, is set to commence at 12:20 pm on January 22, concluding by 1 pm, symbolizing the formal consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath actively participated in a program offering clothes made for Lord Ram in Lucknow, showcasing his devotional involvement in the upcoming grand ceremony.

Chief Minister Adityanath envisions Ayodhya as a city resonating with the soulful notes of Sankirtan and illuminated by Deepotsav, emphasizing a cultural resurgence that transcends historical curfews and restrictions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, set to inaugurate the Ram Temple, expressed gratitude for the collective effort in realizing the dream of a grand temple. His devotion to Lord Ram extends beyond mere religious sentiments, emphasizing the broader significance of good governance in social life.
