PM Modi in Mumbai: PM to introduce 3 Naval combatants to nation, Deputy CM Shinde hails him

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on January 15 to commission three major naval combatants—INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and INS Vaghsheer—at the Naval Dockyard, strengthening India’s maritime capabilities. This marks a key step in India’s goal to become a global leader in defence manufacturing. In the afternoon, PM Modi will meet Mahayuti MLAs at INS Angre and guide them on party matters. Later, he will inaugurate the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, an ISKCON project. Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde praised the PM for his continuous support, attributing the government’s success and overwhelming public mandate to his leadership, and highlighted discussions on upcoming local body elections.
