Holocaust survivor Lily Elbert, 97, successfully recovered from the deadly COVID-19. Ebert's heartwarming story was shared on Twitter by her great-grandson Dov Forman.
Posting a picture of his grandmother smiling after recovering from COVID-19, Forman wrote, "My 97-Year-old Great Grandma, Lily Ebert BEM - Auschwitz Survivor, has just recovered from Covid- 19." He further said that his grandmother went for a walk after making the miraculous recovery.

A third user commented, "This makes me so happy!", while another user jokingly said, "Fabulous news Dov! Can Lily be my great-grandma too?"
Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, also tweeted a wish for the 97-year-old's good health.
