A couple of days ago a Brazilian on-line newspaper Sensacionalista carried a fake story of a white American woman who claimed that she became pregnant to the black actor who was 'performing' in a 3D porn movie she watched.
"A white American couple had a black baby and pregnant wife says that watching a porn movie 3D. The child's father, the soldier Erick Johnson, was serving a year at a military base in Iraq, and when he returned home he found a black baby. His wife, Jennifer Stewart, 38, told him that the child was conceived while she was watching a porn film in three dimensions," the story ran.
"I see it as suspicious. The films in 3-D are very real." With today's technology anything is possible, "said 'Erick', who recorded the child.
'Jennifer' was quoted saying that she was at a porn movie theatre with her friends in New York. She says she does not usually watch porn movies and that was only this time to see how the effects were in 3D. The child, she says, looks like the black actor in the movie.
"A month after watching the movie I started feeling dizzy and the result is there. I'll process the film and the producers. Even though my husband believed in me. My marriage could be at risk. But he knows I'm faithful" she was quoted.
At the end of the story the newspaper Sensacionalista ran a tag line 'um jornal idento de verdade' - which literally translates to 'Aa newspaper lacks truth', or perhaps more figuratively, "Don't let truth get in the way of a good story."
However, the hard fact is that 3D porn already seems the next big thing. In fact, shooting has already begun on what's being billed as the world's first 3D porno film called 3D Sex and Zen, with a reported budget of $3.9 million. The porn movie is a sequel to 1991's Sex and Zen, which was based loosely on 17th-century Chinese book The Carnal Prayer Mat by Li Yu.
Fiction is fast becoming fact and Stephen Shiu Jr, chairman of One Dollar Production, says 3D Sex And Zen will push the envelope content-wise while helping the porn industry thwart piracy.
"Just imagine that you'll be watching it as if you were sitting beside the bed," he was quoted in the South China Morning Post. "There will be many close-ups. It will look as if the actresses are only a few centimeters from the audience."
Just imagine the consequences!
