Irish rebels threaten to bomb London

Irish rebels have threatened to bomb central London, Scotland Yard said. The specific location or time was, however, not mentioned, Sky News reported Monday.

Officials said security has been tightened in the British capital after a "non-specific" threat was issued Sunday night.

"A bomb threat warning has been received relating to central London. The threat is not specific in relation to location or time," a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
