The parents ofu00a0 Kate Middleton are said to have gone and taken a look at a manor house that is up for sale and which had belonged to Camilla Parker Bowles.

Carole and Michael Middleton went to view the ufffd5 million (Rs 37 crore) Bolehyde Manor, which Camilla had stayed in during her affair with Prince Charles.

The Middletons paid a quiet visit to the house, which is being sold privately in December

Bolehyde Manor, a 14th-century pile near Chippenham, Wiltshire, is the home of the Earl and Countess Cairns, who bought the place from Camilla.

It has 11 bedrooms, three cottages, 70 acres of parkland with tennis courts, swimming pool and a pear orchard, manicured gardens with yew hedges carved into animal shapes, and a benign resident ghost.

Former airhostess Carole and her husband, ex-British Airways aircraft dispatcher Michael, paid a quiet visit to the house, which is being sold privately, in December.

"Talk about keeping it in the family, Camilla was rather amused to hear that the Middletons had been to look round her old home," said a source.
