Britain's Queen Elizabeth II wants Royal secrets to be exempt from plans to open more official papers to the public, it was revealed yesterday.
An independent review this week recommended historic documents should be made public after 15 years half the current term.
That would allow the Government to release records from 1992, dubbed an "annus horribilis" by the Queen.
