A man accused of luring Hong Kong women into having sex with him using the Facebook website as well as offers of money that he never paid might have worked his scam on up to 70 people, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The 28-year-old turned himself in to police on Wednesday after a 15-year-old complained he tricked her into sex through the social-networking site, the Hong Kong Standard said.
The man allegedly met the teen on Facebook and promised her 6,000 US dollars to take part in rituals in October to rid him of bad luck, which involved having sex four times, the newspaper said.
When he failed to pay up, she reportedly tracked him down with a friend and seized his mobile phone, which contained photos and videos of around 70 other women and girls he allegedly tricked into sex.
