Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy decides to suspend his 2024 presidential campaign following a disappointing showing in the Iowa Caucus, acknowledging the lack of a viable path to the presidency.

Ramaswamy announces his endorsement of former President Donald Trump, who emerged victorious in the Iowa Caucus, solidifying his position as a frontrunner for the Republican nomination in the upcoming November presidential elections.

Speaking to his supporters in Iowa, Ramaswamy acknowledges the campaign's inability to achieve the anticipated surprise and declares the suspension, emphasizing the absence of a viable path for him to become the next president.

The Iowa Caucus, marking the official start of the 2024 White House race, sees Trump securing a significant win, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in second place and Indian-American Nikki Haley coming in third.

Vivek Ramaswamy lands as a distant fourth in the Iowa Caucus, obtaining 7.7 per cent of the votes polled, prompting the decision to suspend his presidential bid.

Ramaswamy reveals that he called Donald Trump to congratulate him on his Iowa Caucus victory and expresses his full endorsement for Trump's presidential candidacy going forward.

Ramaswamy highlights the presence of two "America First" candidates in the race, aligning himself with Trump's agenda and endorsing him as the candidate with his full support.

The campaign moves to New Hampshire, where the primary is scheduled for January 23. Ramaswamy is set to campaign alongside Trump in this state following the endorsement.

A second-generation Indian American, Ramaswamy founded Roivant Sciences in 2014, led significant biotech IPOs, and later launched Strive Asset Management in 2022, aiming to empower everyday citizens in the American economy.
