The World Cup-winning skipper is now a commentator and cricket expert with a news channel.

SM Gavaskar (64)
India's original little master is full-time into media doing television commentary and writing columns.

K Srikkanth (53)
He was chairman of selectors when Dhoni's men clinched the World Cup in 2011 after 28 years. He is currently associated with IPL team Hyderabad Sunrisers.

M Amarnath (62)
He was a national selector until last year, but was replaced. Loves to spend time in Goa.

D Vengsarkar (57)
He is gunning for the president's post in the Mumbai Cricket Association after having lost to Vilasrao Deshmukh in 2011.

Ravi Shastri (51)
He is a full-time television commentator. He is also a member of the Indian Premier League governing council.

Yashpal S (58)
After his selectorial stint on the national panel, Yashpal Sharma is a TV channel expert.

Sandeep Patil (56)
Currently chairman of India selectors. He recently quit as MCA's chief selector citing inability to watch matches.

Madan Lal (62)
Is a cricket expert on a national news channel.

Syed Kirmani (63)
Is director at the Karnataka State Cricket Association academy

Roger Binny (57)
He is part of the Sandeep Patil-headed selection committee.

Kirti Azad (54)
Is a prominent member of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). He is also a Lok Sabha member. Azad is a sharp critic of the BCCI.

B Sandhu (56)
Loves his coaching and now excels as an insightful writer on his website. He wrote a book on his 1983 World Cup teammates in 2008.
