Autonomy, coming out of a massive 154-day holiday from racing, will have to be at his best if he has to regain his reputation that he earned as a three-year-old last year. And the Bezan Chenoy-trained four-year-old can do it in two steps: first, by winning the MiD DAY Trophy on Sunday, and second, by winning it convincingly enough to revive his connections' hopes.

Only then he can renew his challenge to Set Alight for the forthcoming Classics. He has to contend with Dancing Dynamite and Sea Princess over the seven furlong trip which may prove a bit too sharp for a horse whose last victory was scored almost a year ago.
