Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun continues good run in MCA U-16 Payyade Trophy with the budding all-rounder shinning with the ball on Day Two
On Day One of the MCA U-16 Payyade Trophy, batting legend Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun scored an impressive century. On Day Two, the budding all-rounder shone with the ball.
The tournament being played at a Kandivli Gymkhana named after his world famous dad, saw the left-arm seamer who turns out for Sunil Gavaskar XI take four wickets while giving away 73 runs against Rohit Sharma XI. The youngster then scored 40 runs for his team in the second essay.

The junior Tendulkar had yesterday scored an impressive century (106 runs) as his team were bowled out for 218. Purav Parekh, Vignesh Solanki and Mukund Sardar claimed three wickets each for Rohit Sharma XI, who had ended Day One on 75 for 3.
Interestingly, Pakistan great Wasim Akram has had net sessions with the young left-arm medium pacer and given him valuable tips.
