An unbeaten 61 in the first ODI against Sri Lanka saw Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni reclaim his numero uno status by jumping one spot up in the ICC ODI Player rankings issued on Saturday.
Dhoni eclipsed West Indies captain Chris Gayle to reach the top rank. Dhoni has 792 points while Gayle is second with the tally of 783.
Gautam Gambhir gained in four places to sneak into the top-20 bracket.
