Genial Dr Arun Samsi is no more

Sports medicine expert Dr Arun B Samsi is no more. Dr Samsi (72) had suffered a paralytic attack recently. He was physio of the Indian team to Pakistan in 1984. Balwinder Singh Sandhu, the former India bowler, said: "He performed the role of a manager too on that tour, attending to our needs and matters relating to travel and baggage. He was a genial soul, who was good company after a day's play," said Sandhu. The funeral will be held at the Shivaji Park crematorium at 10 am today.
