Former Australia cricket captain Clarke's wife Kyly admits she and daughter Kelsey Lee are eagerly awaiting his arrival from India
Former Australia cricket skipper Michael Clarke's wife Kyly admitted that she and their daughter Kelsey Lee are missing Michael, who is set to return home from India after three-and-a-half weeks. Michael was a commentator during the bilateral ODI series.
"Kelsey Lee and I can't wait to pick him up. He's been away for too long," Kyly told the Today Show yesterday.
The young mum, 36, revealed that her daughter has almost out grown her cot and is ready for a bed. "She's standing up saying she wants to come into mummy's bed. It has been a tough few weeks. I am looking to hand over the baton to Michael," she added.
Michael too is eagerly awaiting to meet his daughter. He posted a picture (above) on Instagram of him hugging Kelsey. "I have missed you so much," he wrote. The couple tied the knot at the Blue Mountains, New South Wales in a secret ceremony on May 15, 2012. Michael was earlier in a relationship with model Lara Worthington Bingle, but they split in 2007 and immediately he started dating Kyly.
"We bumped into each other in a bar. I think it was 2007 and I recognised Kyly," he had said of their first meeting.
