According to footballer Sunil Chettri, the future of soccer in India is quite bright. He tells CS, "I think a number of young people are passionately following the sport in the country.
In the past few years, we have seen major clubs setting up facilities in big metros to promote the game. Some leading footballers have also come to India." But he also believes that the sport needs to be promoted more.
"The government needs to be more proactive especially in setting up facilities in smaller towns. This will give the sport a huge lift." Well, guess that sounds true for any other game, except cricket, Sunil!u00a0
