Pakistan sports minister Aftab Jilani said his ministry would not stop players from participating in the Indian Premier League.

Several Pakistani players including captain Younis Khan, former captain Shoaib Malik, fast bowlers Sohail Tanvir and Shoaib Akhtar as well as all-rounder Shahid Afridi, have lucrative contracts with IPL franchises.
