Riding high on opening batswoman Grace Harris' 40 runs, Australia managed to put on a total of 151 runs in the IND-W vs AUS-W Women's T20 World Cup 2024 match.
Team India needs to chase the target of 152 runs in IND-W vs AUS-W, in order to boost their chances for qualification for the semi-final of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024.

The absence of skipper Alyssa Healy was clearly visible in Australia's batting lineup during the match. Stand-in captain Tahlia McGrath departed after scoring 32 runs, followed by Ellyse Perry on 32 runs. McGrath's innings included 4 fours and on the other hand, Perry's knock was laced with 2 fours and 1 six. Wicket-keeper Beth Mooney returned to the pavilion after scoring just two runs. Ashleigh Gardner (6) and Annabel Sutherland (10), too were unable to score many runs. Georgia Wareham and Sophie Molineux departed on a duck in the IND-W vs AUS-W match. Phoebe Litchfield and Megan Schutt stayed unbeaten on the scores of 15 runs and zero runs, respectively. Australia's innings wrapped up on 151 runs with just two wickets in hand.
Renuka Singh snapped two wickets for just 24 runs in her four overs. Alongside Renuka, Deepti Sharma claimed two wickets by conceding 28 runs in four overs. Pooja Vastrakar, Shreyanka Patil and Radha Yadav registered one wicket each to their names. Arundhati Reddy went wicketless in the IND-W vs AUS-W match.
Team India needs to win the match by keeping a close look at their net run rate. Australia as well will look to make their way easier for the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals by defeating India.
