Former Indian batsman and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar was not too pleased with the team selection that Sunrisers Hyderabad opted for during their clash against Mumbai Indians.
At halfway, SRH seemed to be comfortably placed at 74/2 and on course to chase the 151 target set by Mumbai Indians. But somehow, SRH once again succumbed to the pressure and witnessed a collapse that saw them lose their third match in a row.
Sanjay Manjrekar went on to express his displeasure with some of the young cricketers from the David Warner-led IPL franchise. Sanjay Manjrekar was very vocal on social media platform Twitter. He wrote, "Sorry to say, but anyone that picks Abhishek Sharma, Virat Singh and Abdul Samad all together in one playing XI does not deserve to win."
