Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya returned to Mumbai Indians (MI) for the IPL 2024 edition. The franchise bought his services for Rs 15 crores and was appointed as their captain by replacing Rohit Sharma. The side failed to make the cut in the playoffs under Pandya's captaincy. Later, the star all-rounder made a strong comeback by showcasing top-notch performances in the T20 World Cup 2024 and later bilateral series

Rohit Sharma

After snubbing Rohit Sharma from the "Paltan's" captaincy, Pandya faced many trolls across stadiums during the 2024 edition of the cash-rich league. Amid rumours, that the former MI captain is likely to leave the franchise and join other team, it doesn't seem that Rohit would take such a huge call. The five-time IPL champions would not like to leave the services of the player who helped them secure all those titles

Jasprit Bumrah

Over the years, Jasprit Bumrah has established himself as one of the mainstays of Mumbai Indians. The franchise would definitely go for the star pacer before submitting their IPL 2025 retention list

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav did not feature in many IPL 2024 matches as he was recovering from his injury back then. With him looking dominating with the willow, the Indian "Mr. 360 degree" player would be one of the top retention choices for the Paltan

Dewald Brevis

A talented youngster from South Africa, Dewald Brevis, who stunned the crowd with his strokeplay could be MI's fifth retention choice. Having featured in 10 matches, the stylish right-hander has so accumulated 230 runs in the cash-rich league's two editions

Tilak Varma or Nehal Wadhera

Tilak Varma has delivered crucial performances for Mumbai Indians under pressure situations. He could emerge as the sixth retention option for the side. But, the franchise would face difficulty when it comes to choosing between him and Nehal Wadhera. Wadhera too has impressed with the willow in the 2023 edition
