Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone has brushed aside any security fears about the Bahrain Grand Prix, which was cancelled last year, following the nasty riots that broke out in the country, killing 34 people.

"Not at all, it's business as usual. I don't need any personal security, but whatever's necessary will be looked after," The Daily Express quoted Ecclestone, as saying.

The issue of Bahrain Grand Prix had caused uproar in the UK parliament as well, with seven members of the House of Lords writing an open letter to Ecclestone, last month to stop this year's race against conducting the race in the volatile country.
