Lindsey Vonn
American skier Lindsey Vonn silenced online haters, who wrote nasty messages on Twitter, after four-time Olympian missed out on a Winter Olympics medal on Saturday. Their comments were in retaliation to Vonn's criticism of US President Donald Trump last month.
One user wrote, "Hey Lindsey - maybe u should focus on your skiing instead of disrespecting our President and being unpatriotic. U think there is a connection between that and u losing? I do. MAGA."
Another Trump supporter felt she should have used her time to train rather than lash out at the president. "Maybe you should have focused on your sport more instead of foolishly bashing our American President right before the Olympics...," the user tweeted. To which, Vonn replied, "Not everyone has to like me but my family loves me and I sleep well at night. I work hard and try to be the best person I can be. If they don't like me their loss I guess... Thank you for the support."
