Top seedu00a0 and favourite Marin Cilic wasted little time in advancing to the second round of the ATP PBZ Zagreb Indoors yesterday. Cilic, who reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open last week, cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win over Czech Republic's Jan Hajek 6-2 6-2 in the Croatian capital.
Second seed Ivan Ljubicic beat France's Arnaud Clement 7-6 (7/4), 6-3 in another first round match.
In second round action, there were straight-sets wins for third-seed Jurgen Melzer, fourth-seed Viktor Troicki and Ukrainian Illya Marchenko.
