Apna Bhidu, or our very own Jackie Dada, has been ruling hearts with his yummy and quick recipes, and you know what is even more interesting? It is the way Jaggu Dada shares the recipes. His Bambaiya style has stolen everyone's heart, and we just can't express how adorable he is. As the foodie in us woke up today, we decided to bring you five of Jackie Shroff's most famous dishes:


Baigan Bharta


'Baigan Bharta' is usually a dish that people love. Those who don't like brinjal in general mostly love its Bharta, and our Jackie Dada has made it easier for most of us to make this delicious dish in a few minutes. To make Bhidu-style Bharta, you need to first make a slit in your brinjal and then stuff it with green chillies and garlic cloves. Later, you need to roast it. After that, peel the burnt skin and mash the brinjal with the chillies and garlic in a bowl. Then add salt, curry leaves, and a dash of mustard oil, and just dig in.

Anda Kadi Patta

In an interview, Jackie Shroff shared how he loves to cook anda (egg) with a twist, so we decided to share this amazing twisted dish with you all. To make this Anda Kadi Patta, you need to break an egg into a bowl, removing the yolk. The next step includes heating a pan, adding some oil, and then putting some curry leaves and green chilli in the pan. Later, pour the tempered mixture over the egg white in the bowl. Finally, cook the egg on both sides in the pan. Here you go, your Anda Kadi Patta is ready. Kanda Bhindi

Who doesn't like Bhindi (lady finger)? Everyone has their own way of cooking it, but what Jackie Shroff has shared is something easy and unique. To make 'Bhidu Jesi Bhindi,' you need to heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion cubes and chopped ladyfingers. Without stirring the ingredients, cover the pan with a lid. Dada says that you can also add some grated garlic cloves to the dish. Once everything is cooked, add some salt to it, and voila, Kanda Bhindi is ready.

Bhopla (Pumpkin)

Once, in an interview, Jackie Shroff shared how he cooks pumpkin, and we thought maybe this is our try to start eating one. To cook this amazing recipe, you need to cut the pumpkin into cubes. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and curry leaves to the pan. After a few seconds, add diced pumpkin to the pan with a few slit green chillies. Do not mix or stir it. To make this yummy milkshake, you need to take the milk and add almonds to it along with a vanilla pod, saffron, cardamom, and some honey.
