Big B's beard tales

Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a behind the scenes story from the sets of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 2007 film Eklavya - The Royal Guard. Apparently, Vidhu wanted Amitabh Bachchan to grow a real beard instead of using prosthetics.

However, owing to other commitments that required Big B to be clean-shaven, the latter was hesitant to oblige.

In the end, Vidhu had his way with this dialogue — “If you are a true actor, Mr Bachchan, you’ll sacrifice one and half years for a beard.” We must say you have surely made some sacrifices. Way to grow Big B!u00a0
