Bollywood stars like Salman and Aamir Khan show affection towards each other through professional favours

Often it has been said that there are no permanent friends or foes in the film industry. However, of late, there have been several instances where actors have gone all the way to accommodate their buddies. That's what Salman Khan did when he offered the 2012 Eid date to Aamir Khan for the release of his next film, helmed by Reema Kagti.

Eventually, the latter settled for June 1, when Salman's Ek Tha Tiger was originally scheduled to open in cinemas. Salman got the Christmas date for Dabangg 2 from Aamir and also got to keep Eid for his action-drama directed by Kabir Khan.

It is learnt that Salman sensed Aamir's worry when the latter went to meet him post his return from Dublin late last month. "Aamir told him that he was unable to figure out a suitable date to release his next film directed by Reema," recalls our source, adding that that was when Salman suggested that he release his film on Eid.

According to the source, Sohail Khan's Sher Khan will not be ready in time for Eid and even Salman will have to work on Ek Tha Tiger till January. Hence as the Eid release date looked vacant, Salman suggested that Aamir take the date for his film, Dhuan, which he is co-producing with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

However, Aamir declined saying that the Eid release date had come to be associated with Salman. Instead, he would take June 1. This sorting out between the two good friends convinced producers Yash and Aditya Chopra to reschedule Ek Tha Tiger as Salman's Eid 2012 release.u00a0In return, according to the source, Aamir has given the Christmas date of 2012 to Salman for Dabangg 2, and has convinced Aditya and Yash Chopra to postpone Dhoom 3 from Christmas 2012 to 2013.

On the basis of his good relations with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh requested and got Rajnikanth to shoot a cameo for RA.One in Mumbai. Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra too put in special appearances in the film. He also got Karan Johar to shoot some of his romantic scenes with Kareena Kapoor in London earlier this year. After starring together in Main Hoon Naa and a cameo in Om Shanti Om, when Zayed ventured into production with Love BreakUps Zindagi, he requested Shah Rukh to appear in a cameo. SRK agreed.u00a0

Ranbir Kapoor-Ayaan Mukerji

Ayaan ventured into direction with Ranbir in the lead. The two then became inseparable. Things, however, soured after Rishi Kapoor expressed his displeasure with Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's comments on RK on Karan Johar's television chat show. Fortunately, all's well and Ranbir and Deepika are working together in Ayaan's next movie for Karan's production house.

Sunny Deol-Rahul Rawail
Unlike his contemporaries, Sunny Deol is said to have comparatively lesser friends in tinsel town. More so since his dosti with directors like Rajkumar Santoshi went sour.

Recently, he called director Rahul Rawail to take control of his ambitious sequel of Ghayal. The two are teaming up after the debacle of Jo Bole So Nihaal over six years ago.

Sanjay Dutt-Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn gave Sanjay Dutt a better role in his production All The Best. And in return, he agreed to do Sanjay's maiden production venture, Rascals, without even hearing the script. Though the film tanked at the box-office, their friendship remains unaffected.
