Akshay Kumar had a special interaction with people on Twitter, after which, the social media platform announced a special emoticon for the film

Just before the release of the movie, Akshay Kumar starrer Gold receives a special medal emoticon on Twitter. Just after the interactive session between the actor and the audience on Twitter, the social media site announced a special medal emoji that appears once typed with different hashtags like #AskAkshay #GoldMovie #FeelingofGold.

Twitter India tweeted the announcement by saying,"Enjoyed that Twitter Q&A with #AskAkshay this morning? Stay tuned in the coming week for more surprises with #GoldMovie (like this special medal!) Tweet with the hashtags below to see the emoji appear [sic]."





The sports drama, which has been garnering a lot of attention on social media since its promotions, adds another feather with such recognition. 'Gold' traces the journey of a hockey manager, who dreams to win the first gold at the Olympics as a free country. The film has been shot in different parts of UK and India by showing various facets and struggles in the domain of sports during the pre-independence era.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, helmed by Reema Kagti, Gold is all set to release on August 15, 2018.
