A source reveals, "After the success of Indra's last film Dhamaal he was sitting idle. However, when southern director K Murlimohan Rao came up to him with this story he was excited on the prospect of a quickie. However after the makers released the film'su00a0 first teaser, it alerted the orignal's makers. The promo of the film starts with the first sequence of the English film."
Settling it
The source further adds, "About two months back, the makers sent a legal notice to the Indra and his business partner Ashok Thakeriau00a0 stating that if the need arose they'd take this matter to court or he should simply offer to buy the rights of the film. The two parties had a meeting last week and Indra and Ashok handed a two crore check to them."
Both Ashok Thakeria and Inder Kumar refused to comment after repeated attempts were made to contact them.
