Music is in my blood, says singer Papon

It wouldn't be wrong to say that vocalist Papon is a born singer. That's because he was born into a family known for its musical background.

He tells CS “My parents are legends in the field of music in my home-town Assam. Earlier I was not interested in learning music and would not volunteer to take it up seriously.

But it was all around me, I used to sleep in the music studios and generally spend a lot of time there. Naturally, I acquired a lot of knowledge which is getting an outlet now.

My parents also trained me in classical music and it really helped me in the long run. So you can say that music is in my blood.”
