Sanjay Gupta has paid the biggest tribute to his favourite actor-director of all timeu00a0- the lateu00a0 Feroz Khan. Gups recently shot a song for his new film Acid Factory with the same style and swagger like Khan used to in the early '80s.

The song in question is Jab Andhera Hota Haiu2026 from the film Raja Rani (1973). Gups bought the rights of the song, shot the remix and will release the re-mastered version next week. The song features Fardeen Khan and Dia Mirza.

The director says, "This song will remind everyone of the Aap Jaise Koi song from Qurbani. I have tried to bring that retro feel to this number. We used a number of lights like Ferozsaab used to have in his songs. Acid is dedicated to him and I feel gutted that I couldn't show him the film."

Fardeen has been styled and presented in the same manner his father showcased actors in his films. In this promotional song, Fardeen is like Ferozsaab and Dia looks like Zeenat Aman. Gupta adds, "We have put this crazy techno beat to the song and it will be airing from sometime this week. The song only has Fardeen and Dia with four professional dancers we flew in from the UK."

Acid Factory is going to release on October 9 and is directed by Suparn Verma.
