Buying a home in Mumbai is nothing less than a dream come true even for B-Town folk. Singer Shaan recently sold his duplex apartment in Bandra. According to a well-placed real estate agent, space not price was an issue for him

The singer decided to sell it for an amount of Rs 9 crore. In turn, he bought two flats in Fortune Enclave on 14th Road, Khar for Rs 17 crore.”
Shaan mentions that there is a short distance separating his old address from the new one. “We loved the building as it suited us perfectly. We are currently on the borderline Khar which is barely five minutes from our old Bandra location so we basically get the best of both worlds.”
Shaan used to earlier stay off 28th Road. “It wasn’t Shaan but his wife Radhika who was taking care of the deal. It’s she who looked after the specifications and every minute detail of the flat. It measures 6,200 square foot and the rate paid by Shaan is what’s the existing rate," adds another broker.
Radhika points to the disturbance their previous location proved to be, “It used to get so noisy with traffic. Even the lanes in Bandra are now used as quick detours for cars especially after the Worli Sea Link came up. We were looking for a more quieter lane which we found in Khar.”
