Stylized Salman should be interesting to fans muses Boney Kapoor Part II

Once, you were a force to reckon with.u00a0 Comment.
Every time I have been down, I have learned how to bounce back. I've never let the bad phase hamper my mindset or allow it to bog me down. I know how to make movies with utmost passion and sincerity and I will keep doing that. Some of my films have been successful, while some have not. I have made some mistakes with the financial aspects and to this day, I am trying to rectify that. You can't blame anyone or judge yourself for the mistakes you make. You just keep calm and try to figure a way out of the mess. Now that is sorted out and I have three films ready and many more I am working on, which will go on the floors soon.u00a0u00a0

Did Salman initially refuse Wanted?
No. When we were planning Wanted I showed the Tamil movie to Salman and he liked what he saw and said yes. Only after that, I bought the rights of the film.u00a0

How was Salman to work with?
It's been a pleasure. He has been hands-on with Wanted. From the look to the action to the styling, he has added his important two cents for the betterment of the project. Even while we were filming, his commitment was complete.u00a0

Why do you do all South remakes?
I strongly believe that all films have some degree of similarity to each other. South films have worked for me and I like their sincerity. Sometimes my gamble of bringing a regional film to Hindi cinema has backfired, but that is a part and parcel of this risky industry.

Salman's pairing with Ayesha Takia is odd, no?
Prabhu and I considered many actresses but Ayesha brought a certain innocence. We wanted a soft-spoken and middle-class looking girl and she fit the bill. Her simplicity compliments Salman well in the film. Recently Salim saab (Salman's dad) and Salman's sister, Alvira saw the film and they both have great things to say about Ayesha's performance.

How did Prabhudeva come into the project?u00a0u00a0u00a0
Prabhu has directed four films. His debut movies in Tamil and Telugu have both been blockbusters. He has acted and choreographed in a 100-odd films, and has an understanding of filmmaking. Prabhu choreographed songs for my films u2014 Roop Ki Rani..., Pukar, Khushi and an item number for Shaktiu00a0- The Power. Also we have a comfort level, and I trust his vision.u00a0

Wasn't Anil supposed to do a song in Wanted?
Yes, the song is called Jalwa and you can see him and even Govinda and the director Prabhudeva doing a little jig with Salman in the song. It was meant to be the surprise package of the film but now, the cat is out of the bag!
