Rumours about producer Ekta Kapoor being upset with Sushant Singh Rajput have been doing the rounds, triggering speculations over the actor's presence in her upcoming production — a cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller, 'Half Girlfriend'. Sources claim that Sushant is still a part of the project, although there are issues related to his dates.

Says a source, "Sushant and director Mohit Suri were gung-ho about starting the shoot in February. The film will be shot in three locations — Delhi, Patna and New York. However, there are certain problems with the overseas schedule in June since he has committed his dates to another film during that month, but the makers can't afford to delay the shoot."

While Sushant and Mohit remained unavailable for comment, a source close to Ekta's production house says, "The whole thing is blown out of proportion and there's no truth to it. This is a big film and we want to make sure everything is right. There are some problems with the dates and it can be worked on. We will begin the shoot soon."
