It’s raining South remakes in B-Town. The latest buzz is that Ram Kumar’s Tamil film 'Ratsasan' (2018) joins the list of films being made in Hindi. There’s talk that Akshay Kumar has given his nod to the psychological thriller. The project will be helmed by Ranjit M Tewari, who is also the director of the superstar’s upcoming film, Bell Bottom. Ratsasan, which featured Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul, revolved around an aspiring film director-turned-cop, who tracks down a psychopath.


On the work front, Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon's "Filhall 2" music video released on June 30. The song is composed by B Praak, the lyrics are penned by Jaani. It is directed by Arvindr Khaira. "Filhall" dropped in November 2019 and became an instant hit. The video currently has 1,018,249,237 views on YouTube and has over seven million likes on the website.


The actor will be next seen in "Raksha Bandhan" which is helmed by Aanand L. Rai, who has just completed shooting the upcoming film, "Atrangi Re" with Akshay. The film co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Akshay Kumar's list of upcoming films also includes "Sooryavanshi", "Bell Bottom", "Prithviraj", "Bachchan Pandey", and "Ram Setu".
