Ganapath: Rajinikanth sends good wishes on film's release, Tiger Shroff reacts

Ganapath: Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's Ganapath released in theatres today. Amid this, Rajinikanth sent out wishes to the team on X

Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's Ganapath: A Hero Is Born has released on the big screens today in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is set in a dystopian world and revolves around the classic concept of good vs evil. On the first day of Ganapath's release, veteran actor Rajinikanth wished the team.

Known as Thalaiva, Rajinikanth sent out his wish to the team of Ganapath on X. His tweet read, "My hearty wishes to @iTIGERSHROFF and the entire cast and crew of #Ganapath. All the very best to you and wishing the film a grand success. #tigershroff #ganapath #jackieshroff @bindasbhidu."

Tiger's father, Jackie Shroff, reacted to Rajinikanth's tweet. He wrote, "Thallaiva Rajini Sir, thanks for supporting my family... my love and respects to you and your family always, my brother."

The producer of Ganapath, Jackky Bhagnani wrote, "Thank you so very much sir. This really means a lot coming from you. I’ve been a very huge fan of yours, and this is the best gift #Ganapath has received."

At the press conference of Ganapath, Tiger spoke about the film and its concept. The actor said, "It is a dystopian world that we are showing and it is about this chosen one (his character) basically bringing peace and order to a world that's divided into two."

Talking about being the action star of India, Tiger shared, "I've done action films all my life. I'm still fairly new in the industry. It is tough to continuously reinvent myself. The stakes get higher, the premise, the geography, the budget and the landscape get bigger and bigger. So, it gets tough to reinvent myself in this space, and I feel there's a lot more to explore."

Ganapath: A Hero Is Born is presented by Pooja Entertainment in association with Good Co. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl. It is now released in worldwide cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
