Mumbai turns into Tiger’s den

Ahead of Salman-Katrina filming Tiger 3 in the city, sources say three sets to be erected at Yash Raj Studios; Goregaon ground booked for key sequence

It has been a whirlwind trip over the past two months for the cast and crew of Tiger 3 as they shot across Turkey, Russia and Austria. Now, all the action from the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer has finally moved to Mumbai. mid-day has it that elaborate prep is underway at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri for the upcoming stint, with three different sets being simultaneously erected at the venue.


“One of the sets will be built according to the Middle-Eastern style of architecture. Director Maneesh Sharma has lined up an extensive three-month schedule for Mumbai, and multiple sets will be put up during the period,” reveals a source. It is heard that the team has also booked the NESCO Ground in Goregaon for this month.

The source adds, “A small sequence was canned at the site earlier. The team will return to shoot another pivotal scene in the coming weeks.” The third instalment of the franchise sees Khan and Kaif reprise their parts of RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore, and Zoya. Emraan Hashmi has been roped in as the antagonist.

mid-day reached out to Yash Raj Films, which remained unavailable for comment.
