After U Me Aur Hum (2008) and Shivaay (2016), Ajay Devgn took over the directorial baton for Runway 34, which not only features him, but also sees him as a producer. While he is sitting on the final edit of the film, he is also preparing massive promotional plans. The film, set to release on April 29, will showcase the first teaser on March 15, followed by an extended trailer on March 21.

“Both the teaser and the two-minute-and-30-second-long trailer have been ready for some time. The stunning visuals in the teaser will show a glimpse of Runway 34 and its characters to give the audience an idea of the story,” informs a source from the production, adding, “The plan is to get some of Ajay’s close friends to launch the trailer on social media. The media will see the trailer at a grand event on March 21.” The source also confirms that Devgn will attach the trailer of Runway 34 along with the theatrical release of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The spokesperson from the production house confirmed the development.

Devgn is known to be hands-on when he is directing a project. The source informs, “Ajay sat in on the teaser and trailer edits with editor Dharmendra Sharma. After he wraps up Bholaa on March 22, he will [shift his attention] to the publicity of Runway 34.” Devgn finished shooting the aviation thriller, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, and Carry Minati in the second week of December.
