Slumdog Millionaire kid Tanay Chheda on his red carpet moments at the Oscars
Tanay Chheda who plays the younger Jamal Malik in Slumdog Millionaire is back from the Oscars full of stories about how the West was won. "It was a dream come true to see all those stars. It still hasn't sunk in." But the most glorious moment for this 12-year-old occurred at the end of the Oscar ceremonies when he burst into tears. "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie saw me and Angie hugged me. That was a moment I'll never forget. They gave me their autograph and said I have a bright future," said Tanay.

He added all the six kids who played important roles in the movie were like a family at the Oscars. "I had an advantage because I could recognise all the Hollywood stars. I'm a movie buff. When Meryl Streep passed by, Azhar (who played the young Salim) asked me who she was and was she as big as Aishwarya Rai. I said, 'Yeah kind of. That was really funny'.
But he gave me an autograph. That was a dream come true."
Tanay's regret. "I couldn't meet Miley Cyrus. I wanted to get her autograph for my cousin.
