British actress Liz Hurley and wife to Indian businessman Arun Nayar decided to play up to her husband's roots by donning a sari at the Love Ball charity fundraiser at London on Tuesday night

However, poor Mrs Nayar forgot her choli at home, as her risque choice to wear the sari minus a blouse left her rushing out of the charity event at the end of the evening, clutching a folder to her chest.

Photographers, however had a field day as Hurley's see through outfit left little to the imagination as the shutterbugs clicked away.

Hurley, who married Nayar in 2007 at lavish wedding receptions at Rajasthan and London, earlier had made jaws drop when she turned up in a Versace black number at a movie premiere in 1994 held up only by golden safety pins. She was at the time, dating actor Hugh Grant and was attending the premiere of his movie 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.

Fire scare
Following a fire scare at the venue, Joely Richardson, Kate Moss and Elizabeth Hurley were rushed from the premises.

Guests attending the evening in aid of the Naked Heart Foundation at the Love Ball London bash were evacuated when fire alarms went off just minutes after Leona Lewis? performance at the fundraiser.

"Wow fire alarms gone off at the ball! We all had to evacuate! Standing outside now loads of people on the street, fire trucks and all!" the Daily Star quoted Lewis as saying on her Twitter page.

The stars later returned to the venue after an hour and a half.

The Daily Mail newspaper reported the alarms were triggered off by dry ice inside the venue
