Prominent South Korean actor couple, Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee, have announced the end of their romantic journey together after a heartfelt seven years. The pair first crossed paths on the sets of the K-drama "My Daughter Geum Sa Wol" in 2015, a series which not only received substantial viewership but also sparked the beginning of their romantic tale.


On September 4, rumours of their separation started making rounds, which were later confirmed by both of their management agencies. The agencies expressed, "It is true that the two have broken up recently. Due to their busy schedules, they naturally grew apart", with Baek Jin Hee's side mirroring the sentiment: "Given the busy schedule of each of them they decided to move on as good colleagues in the future."


Both stars, who had publicized their relationship in March 2016, post the drama's success, had previously been surrounded by breakup rumors, but this recent confirmation puts an end to all speculations. "It’s true that Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee have broken up. Now, rather than a couple, the two are rooting for each other as colleagues," an insider shared with Sports DongA. They further elaborated on the depth of the situation, stating, “It must have been a hard decision since they have dated for so long. I just hope fans bless them with support and encouragement.”


Baek Jin Hee and Yoon Hyun Min gew close during their MBC drama, My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol. Directed by Baek Ho-Min, the show also starred Park Se Young, Jeon In Hwa and Do Sang Woo. Following the success of the series, Baek Jin Hee and Yoon Hyun Min got were embroiled in several dating rumours while the drama was still running. Although they did not confirm their relationship initially, later they revealed that they began seeing each other in April of the same year.

Yoon Hyun Min's entry into the entertainment sphere was marked by his debut in the musical "Spring Awakening" in 2007. Before embracing the glitz and glamor, he was a professional baseball player. His transition into acting was rewarded with roles in dramas like "Heartless City", "A Witch's Love", with his leading role in "My Daughter Geum Sa Wol" amplifying his star power. More recent works include "Bora! Deborah" and the upcoming short film "Taste of Horror – Gym for Residents."

Baek Jin Hee, with her remarkable performance in "High Kick: Revenge of the Short-Legged", cemented her position as a promising talent. She later garnered widespread acclaim as Empress Tanashiri in the historical drama "Empress Ki". Currently, she's captivating audiences with her performance in "The Real Has Come!".

The relationship timeline of the couple is a blend of professional achievements and intimate moments. They always remained in the limelight, be it for their on-screen chemistry, vacations, or the adoring comments they exchanged on social media. Their relationship, which began amidst dating rumors in early 2016, had always been under public scrutiny, reflecting the intersection of their personal and professional lives.
