Alok, son of veteran actor-director Kashinath, is debuting in a film called Baaji (Bet).

"Alok's comfort level with the camera is amazing considering that he's a newcomer. I was also impressed by the ease with which he does action scenes," says Srinivas.
But why didn't Kashinath launch his son's film career? "I wanted Alok to struggle like any other newcomer. Of course, I read the script of Baaji and gave him my honest opinion. Apart from that, I refuse to get involved in any aspect of the film. As a father, I am curious to know the audience response to my son's first film," he replies. Baaji releases next Friday.
