The MiPad features a 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution touchscreen display guarded with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is clocked at 2.2GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor complimented by 2GB worth of RAM. The device gets 16GB or 64GB of internal memory that can be expanded through microSD card. The Xiaomi device runs on Android laced with MIUI software.
Tech giant Xiaomi has planned to launch the 16GB variant of the tablet in India at Rs 12,999. This certainly will not be an issue as the makers have made sure to give ample space option by extending the microSD card limit up to 128GB. It means you are never running out of storage!
It gets an 8-megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet has been packed with 6700mAh battery to keep it running. Xiaomi's MiPad might prove as a successful take on Apple's iPad 3 mini once it comes to the market.
